We've known we would be moving for a long time--since August. So we've been preparing for it by packing boxes, house hunting, etc. But when the time finally came, it didn't seem real. It felt right, but not real. We loaded the moving truck Monday. Here's it's ready to be filled. Filled the truck and said some goodbye's to friends. Tuesday morning we said goodbye to Grandpa (Grandma was in KY). Then we hit the road. Ephraim drove the truck and towed his car, and I drove the kids in the party van. We watched 7 movies! It took us 13 hours, and we drove through breathtaking desert scenery. We finally arrived at 8:30 pm. We got in the house, Ephraim made the kids make-shift beds, I went out for groceries and essentials, we realized the water wasn't turned on and the AC wasn't working, and then we slept. We've been settling in and making our new house a home. It's a fun process....
