We went for an overnight campout near St Johns AZ. We got an inflatable kayak to use on the lake and it was a hit! Cabin + lake + s'mores + kids = super summer getaway

Bday fun
We had some bday fun this week. The pictures are out of order, but we explored the Science Center and then pigged out at the pizza buffet. Yahoo!
Summer stuff
Cute patients at the dr office. Air time at a friends house. Waning student life (4 more weeks!) Upholstery sutures. Ephraim wore a hole in his study chair armrest so he stitched it up like an ER patient.
Fun on the Fourth
It was a fun 4th of July. We went to the Korean market (very patriotic), then the boys went roller skating. (It's always entertaining to see the characters at the skating rink.) In the evening we ate pizza and did street fireworks with friends. After that we went downtown to watch the city show. It was spectacular! I just love fireworks! It's a sign of summer and a celebration of America. 🇺🇸
Patriotic Tshirts
This year we made our own 4th of July shirts with some paint, tape, and star stickers. I love that each one was unique. Next time I'd use fabric paint. We used acrylic and it made the shirts stiff. But it's ok, it was a fun project!
Tucson Temple Open House and New Van
Our friend Gapi came to visit us so while she was here I thought it would be good to visit the temple Open house in Tucson. So off we went. My van has given me cause for concern in the past but I thought it would be fine. Just two hours away. However it didn't like doing those two hours in the desert heat and started acting up once we got into Tucson. We miraculously made it to the church building. And enjoyed touring the temple. We decided the van wouldn't make it back home so we rented the first available van, a 15-seater. It was a rough day. The pictures show smiles, but there were also tears. Long story short, we got a new van and it's a huge blessing. We know that God was watching over us.
